Famed actress for Psycho, Touch of Evil, The Vikings and many other classic Hollywood films.

She was born Jeanette Helen Morrison in Merced, California, on July 6, 1927. She was sponsored by Norma Shearer, who had seen a photo of her, andencouraged her to sign with M-G-M in 1945. She performed on radio programs and then starred in the Ozarks romance story The Romance of Rosy Ridge with Van Johnson, which success led to a long career with 85 credits.

She died October 3, 2004 from inflammation disease Vasculitis.
